Police Pursuit Leads to Fatal Crash on Country Road 337 in Milam County
MILANO, TX (January 30, 2023) – Milano Fire Department officials confirmed that three people died in a fiery car crash on Country Road 337 on January 26.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 36 around 3:49 PM.
Based on a report, a car was attempting to escape a Milam County deputy and was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. Subsequently, it left the roadway and crashed into a private property.
Then, it caught fire in the incident.
Emergency crews said that three people inside the vehicle died. Officials did not yet release their names, pending next of kin notification.
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
