TEMPE, AZ (October 16, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that three people suffered serious injuries in an accident on College Avenue on October 6.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just south of Apache Boulevard. Based on a report, a car crashed into a group of bicyclists near the intersection.
 
As a result, three bicyclists suffered serious injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victims to the hospital for treatment.
 
The driver of the car stayed on the scene and police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
