Thomas Balicki Dies in ATV Crash on El Camino Del Cerro in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (April 30, 2024) — A 30-year-old man identified as Thomas Balicki died in an ATV crash on Monday, April 22.
 
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the accident took place on west El Camino Del Cerro just west of Silverbell Road at around 1:30 a.m.
 
Pima County Sheriff’s Department detectives believe the ATV overturned while moving on west El Camino Del Cerro. It ended up pinning the operator.
 
Balicki appeared to be the passenger on that ATV. When it rolled, he was ejected from the ATV and then struck by a passing vehicle.
 
Deputies said responding officers pronounced Balicki dead at the scene.
 
Emergency responders also brought another man who was pinned under the ATV to the hospital for treatment.
 
The driver of that vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
The investigation is still underway.
