Motorcycle Rider Therecilla Allen Identified in Fatal Seattle Accident on 5 Freeway

 
SEATTLE, WA (September 25, 2023) – The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified 48-year-old Therecilla Casino Allen of Auburn who died in a motorcycle accident on 5 Freeway on September 2.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at the northbound side near the convention center. Based on a report, the victim was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by a 53-year-old Auburn man.
 
Due to unknown reasons, their motorcycle struck a puddle of water and flipped, ejecting both riders. Then, their motorcycle arrived at a stop on the right shoulder.
 
As a result, Allen suffered multiple factors including an injury to the brain resulting in loss of blood flow to brain tissue; skull, facial bone, and multiple rib and left scapular fractures; subdural and subarachnoid hemorrhaging in the brain; and blunt force injury of head and torso leading to pulmonary contusions. She died a few days later.
 
The collision resulted in roadway blockages for 2 hours and 16 minutes.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
