KENNEWICK, WA (May 24, 2023) – The Kennewick Police Department identified 32-year-old Terry Barnhart who died in a bicycle accident in the 2600 block of West 4th Avenue on May 20.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 4:02 AM. Based on a report, a caller found Barnhart next to his bicycle on the sidewalk. Police said a car hit the victim and left the scene.
 
As a result, emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The caller told police that they took the victim’s bicycle. Officers ask anyone with information about the incident or the location of Barnhart’s bicycle to call 509-628-0333.
 
At this point, an investigation into the accident is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
