Teen, Man Killed in Las Vegas Car Accident on North Lamb Boulevard and East Bonanza Road

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (February 21, 2024) — A teenager and a 60-year-old man died in a car crash on North Lamb Boulevard on Saturday, February 10.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred at about 4:10 a.m. at the intersection of North Lamb Boulevard and East Bonanza Road.
 
Evidence at the scene determined that a Chevrolet Silverado traveled northbound on Lamb Boulevard at a high rate of speed. Then it entered the intersection in a solid red light.
 
At the same time, a Toyota Scion was also entering the intersection in a green light. After that, the Chevrolet collided with the passenger side of the Toyota. The impact ejected both drivers from their vehicles.
 
Paramedics transported the driver of the Toyota, only identified as a 60-year-old man, dead at the scene.
 
Medics also rushed the driver of the Chevrolet, a 17-year-old boy, to a local hospital where medical personnel later pronounced him dead.
 
These fatalities mark the 22nd and 23rd traffic-related deaths in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for this year.
 
This incident is still under investigation by the LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section.
