Fatal Rollover Crash on Southeast Pine Road in Port Orchard
PORT ORCHARD, WA (August 6, 2024) – Officials confirmed that a teenage girl died in a crash in the 700 block of Southeast Pine Road on July 17.
The Washington State Patrol said the girl was a passenger in a 2007 Subaru Impreza speeding down the street before the crash.
Subsequently, the vehicle went airborne and hit several trees. It then flipped over and rested on its top.
As a result, the girl suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release her name, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, suffered injuries. He did not display signs of impairment at the time of the incident.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
