YAKIMA, WA (August 26, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a teen and two children suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash on Harrison Road on August 7.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 821 around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, the 17-year-old driver failed to yield at the intersection and crashed with another vehicle head-on.
 
As a result, the teen and two children from the other car suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
The crash also destroyed the two vehicles.
