Talaura Frost Dead after Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 60 near Queen Valley Road

 
QUEEN VALLEY, AZ (January 3, 2024) — 23-year-old Talaura Rhyann Frost, of Snowflake, died in a two-vehicle accident on Monday, December 23.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at about 1:00 p.m. on Highway 60 at milepost 215, near the Queen Valley Road intersection.
 
Arizona DPS said a black Kia SUV stopped on the side of the road. After that, it turned into the path of a white GMC pickup truck. Then the two vehicles crashed.
 
The impact of the incident forced the pickup truck off the road and into a wash.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Frost, who was a passenger in the pickup truck, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the drivers of both vehicles with serious injuries.
 
The family created a GoFundMe to assist with a memorial for Frost and her unborn baby. Her family said her fiance also sustained injuries in the collision. Additionally, they said the couple plan to get married next month.
 
Officials closed Highway 60 for the afternoon Monday as crews investigated the incident and cleared the scene. They reopened it early Tuesday morning.
 
DPS’s Vehicular Crimes Unit took over the ongoing investigation.
