NACOGDOCHES, TX (August 15, 2024) — A 62-year-old Nacogdoches woman identified as Susan King died in a car accident on Saturday, July 27.

According to Sgt. Brett Ayres, spokesman for the Nacogdoches Police Department, the crash occurred in the 400 block of Southwest Stallings Drive at about 9:49 p.m.

Based on the initial investigation, officers determined King drove a passenger vehicle northbound on Southwest Stallings Drive. Then her car left the road and crashed into road equipment, Ayres said.
