Stephanie Varieur Dies After Riverside Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 215
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 28, 2025) — Stephanie Varieur died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 215 on Thursday night, February 20.
The fatal incident occurred near Van Buren Boulevard at around 8:00 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officials stated that 61-year-old Varieur had been driving a three-wheel Can-Am Spyder motorcycle in the No. 3 lane on southbound I-215.
For reasons still undetermined, Varieur made a right turn before slamming into a Freightliner semi-tractor trailer.
The force of impact caused the Can-Am to overturn, ejecting Varieur in the process.
The accident left Varieur dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Freightliner emerged from the crash unharmed.
Authorities are still working on determining the cause and circumstances behind the incident.
