Stephanie Clements Identified in Fatal Lampasas County Crash
LAMPASAS COUNTY, TX (November 21, 2022) – Police identified 66-year-old Stephanie Clements as the victim who died in a crash on Highway 281 on November 19.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Clements was driving a 2017 Mercedes going north on the highway at the time of the crash. Clements’ car was driving too fast when it lost traction on the road surface and slipped into the southbound lane, about 2 miles south of Adamsville.
Subsequently, she collided with a south-bound 2018 Audi sedan driven by a 48-year-old man from Austin.
As a result, Lampasas Justice of the Peace pronounced Clements dead at the scene.
The driver of the Audi and his passenger suffered incapacitating injuries. Police took them to Baylor Scott and White in Temple for treatment.
As of now, police are asking anyone with information about this crime to call.
