Corinna Pope Identified in Fatal Hit-and-Run on Highway 14 in Killeen

 
KILLEEN, TX (November 21, 2022) – Police identified 30-year-old Corinna Lee Ann-Nadine Pope of Lampasas as the victim who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle on Highway 14 on November 17.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened the Bell Tower Drive exit. Based on a report, Pope was attempting to cross the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 46-year-old male from Copperas Cove driving a 2013 Dodge pick-up truck struck her. The driver stayed at the scene.
 
Subsequently, an unidentified vehicle struck Pope again and continued eastbound.
 
As a result, Justice of the Peace Bill Price pronounced Pope dead at the scene.
 
As of now, this crash remains under investigation.
