MESA, AZ (November 19, 2024) — 43-year-old Spencer Lindahl and four others died in a plane crash on Tuesday, November 6.
 
According to the Mesa Police, the crash happened near Greenfield Road and McKellips Road, just southwest of Falcon Field.
 
The National Transportation Safety Board said that an initial investigation determined a Honda HA-420 jet tried to abort takeoff. Then it crashed through an airport perimeter fence. After that, it collided with a vehicle on Greenfield Road.
 
On Wednesday morning, Mesa police released the identities of four people on the plane that died. They identified them as 43-year-old Spencer Lindahl, 48-year-old Rustin Randall, 44-year-old Drew Kimball, and 12-year-old Graham Kimball.
 
Sources confirmed t that Randall was the pilot. It also said that the group was reportedly on the way to Provo, Utah.
 
Mesa police said one person on the plane survived. The survivor remained hospitalized with burn injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle hit by the plane also died in the fiery crash. Officials have not yet released the driver’s identity pending notification of loved ones.
 
The NTSB handles the ongoing investigation of the incident.
