Driver Wanted after Boulder Hit-and-Run on University Avenue and Broadway

 
BOULDER, CO (April 3, 2024) – The Boulder Police Department confirmed that a skateboarder was not hurt following a hit-and-run on University Avenue on March 13.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Broadway at approximately 3:00 PM. Based on a report, the skateboarder was crossing the intersection at the designated crosswalk prior to the crash.
 
There were a few seconds left in his right of way. Then, a silver SUV drove through the intersection as soon as the light turned green. In response, the skateboarder jumped off his skateboard to avoid being hit.
 
As a result, the victim’s skateboard was damaged in the incident.

As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. However, no other details are available.
