LONGVIEW, TX (August 15, 2023) – Officials identified 46-year-old Shon Bell of Longview who died in a pedestrian accident on FM 2087 on August 1.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 9:55 PM. Based on a report, Bell was walking south on the fog line of FM 2087 prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, 24-year-old Christian Goff of Kilgore was traveling northbound. Due to unknown reasons, Goff struck Bell with the front right side of his car.
 
As a result, Bell suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
