Brenton Vaughan Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 62 in Orange

 
ORANGE, TX (August 15, 2023) – Officials identified 30-year-old Brenton Vaughan of Bridge City who died in a semi-truck accident on Highway 62 on July 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 10 Freeway. Based on a report, the tractor-trailer was pulling out from Pilot Travel Center at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Vaughan hit the truck with his Dodge Challenger. Following impact, the Dodge went under the truck.
 
As a result, Vaughan sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
Emergency crews transported his passenger to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for treatment.
