One Killed, Sherry Parsons Arrested for DUI in Houston Car Crash on North Shepherd Drive

 
HOUSTON, TX (December 13, 2023) – The Houston Police Department arrested 32-year-old Sherry Ann Parsons following a wrong-way crash on North Shepherd Drive on November 30.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at approximately 11:35 PM. Based on a report, Parsons was driving a white Mitsubishi Outlander northbound in the southbound lanes on Shepard Drive before the crash.
 
Subsequently, she struck a white Volkswagen Jetta traveling southbound.
 
As a result, the 34-year-old male driver of the Volkswagen sustained grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials have not yet released his name, pending kin notification.
 
Paramedics transported Parsons to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
While investigating, police found Parsons to be impaired. Officers charged her with manslaughter before booking her into the Harris County Jail.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
