PHOENIX, AZ (December 13, 2023) – Phoenix Police officials identified 28-year-old Aron Moreno who died in a hit-and-run on 36th Street on December 2.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Thunderbird Road around 6:40 PM. Based on the report, officers responded to reports of Moreno who was lying near the intersection.
 
Officials said a vehicle was traveling west on Thunderbird Road when it struck the victim. Subsequently, the vehicle’s driver fled the scene, without aiding the victim.
 
As a result, Moreno suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
