Shemikia Brown, Three Children Killed in Crash on Highway 146 at Millgate Road [Livingston, TX]

Shemikia Brown Identified in Fatal Crash in Livingston

 
LIVINGSTON, TX (November 17, 2023) – Officials identified 34-year-old Shemikia Brown of Livingston who died in a crash on Highway 146 on November 9.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Millgate Road around 10:15 PM. Based on a report, Brown was driving a Buick south on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, she traveled into the oncoming lane and struck a GMC.
 
As a result, Brown suffered grave injuries in the incident. Three of her passengers, a 13-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old boy were also seriously hurt. They all died at the scene.
 
Crews transported a 6-year-old girl in the car to a hospital for life-threatening injuries.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
