18-Year-Old Alexandrea Sanchez, 19-Year-Old Henry Roque Hurt in Fatal Rollover Crash in Buffalo

 
BUFFALO, TX (October 30, 2022) – Police identified 18-year-old Alexandrea Sanchez and 19-year-old Henry Roque as two of the five people who suffered injuries in a rollover crash that killed an infant on 45 Freeway on October 25.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Mile Marker 173 around 4:50 AM.
 
Based on a report, a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling southbound on the freeway when it drove off the roadway, struck the cable barriers, and rolled. At that point, the impact ejected all the occupants to the roadway.
 
As a result, a Leon County Justice of the Peace pronounced a seven-month-old dead at the scene.
 
Roque, the driver of the vehicle, suffered serious injuries in the incident. Crews transported him and a 17-year-old female passenger to Palestine Regional Medical Center.
 
Sanchez, 32-year-old Sandi Sanchez of Houston, and an 11-year-old boy were sent to UT Health Tyler and Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
 
As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
