Sergio Hernandez Identified in Fatal Accident in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (February 7, 2023) – The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Sergio Luis Torres Hernandez of Dallas as one of the two victims who died in an accident on 20 Freeway at McCart Avenue on February 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near McCart Avenue around 10:30 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle rear-ended Hernandez’s car on the freeway.
 
Subsequently, Hernandez stepped out to exchange insurance information with the other driver. At that point, a motorcycle driving at a high speed struck his vehicle at full force.
 
As a result, Hernandez and the motorcyclist died at the scene.
 
Hernandez’s family setup a GoFund account to help his family with funeral expenses.
 
The name of the other man who died has not yet been released by authorities.
 
Fort Worth police did not release any details. As of now, the case remains under investigation.
