Scott Brittain Killed in Allen Rollover Crash on Sam Rayburn Tollway

 
ALLEN, TX (January 23, 2024) — A Fort Worth man identified as 54-year-old Scott Thomas Brittain died in a rollover accident on Saturday, January 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred on the Sam Rayburn Tollway near Custer Road at around 6:00 p.m.
 
Based on the initial investigation, officials said Brittain drove south on Sam Rayburn. Then his vehicle went into the left side of the roadway.
 
After that, Brittain’s car struck another vehicle before going into the median. Lastly, his car hit a signpost, and rolled over.
 
The impact of the accident ejected Brittain from the driver’s seat. Officers said he succumbed to sustained injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
 
Officials continue to investigate the crash.
