Northglenn Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on 58th Avenue near Logan Court

 
DENVER, CO (January 4, 2024) — A 28-year-old Northglenn man riding a scooter died in a fatal hit-and-run crash on 58th Avenue on Thursday, December 21.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the man rode a TIFGALOP standing adult electric scooter. Then it turned left from westbound East 58th Avenue onto Logan Court at around 7:00 p.m. Then a vehicle moving east on East 58th Avenue struck him.
 
The driver of a white Subaru Legacy Outback struck the scooter in the intersection. After that, it fled the scene.
 
Paramedics rushed the scooter driver to a hospital where he later died. Officials have not yet released his identity.
 
Authorities continue to search for a white Subaru Legacy Outback. They describe it as a 2004-2009 model. They added it most likely has damage to the left front, hood, and windshield.
 
The Subaru driver reportedly continued east on East 58th Avenue. After that, it turned north or south on Washington Street.
