Sabrina Gray Identified in Fatal Crash on Highway 175 in Cuney

 
CUNEY, TX (November 20, 2023) – Officials identified 41-year-old Sabrina A. Gray of Cuney who died in a head-on crash on Highway 175 on November 12.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 5:26 AM. Based on a report, Gray was driving a Dodge Dart northwest on the highway in the wrong lane prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a Ford F-150 towing a trailer was traveling southeast about 1.5 miles east of Cuney. Subsequently, Gray collided with the Ford F-150 and the impact ejected her from her vehicle. A report noted she was not wearing a seatbelt.
 
As a result, Gray suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Ford, 59-year-old Pete E. Garner of Brownsboro, sustained injuries. Crews took him to a hospital in Tyler, but the extent of his injuries was not available.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
