Skater Ryon Smith Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Wedgewood Drive in Fort Worth

 
FORT WORTH, TX (February 14, 2025) Fort Worth Police identified 40-year-old Ryon Smith who died in a hit-and-run on Wedgewood Drive on February 2.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Smith was riding his skateboard at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown circumstances, a driver hit him and drove off.
 
As a result, Smith suffered grave injuries and died in the incident.
 
Police have not provided a description of what kind of vehicle they’re looking for.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
