LUBBOCK, TX (October 7, 2022) – 15-year-old Ryder Mcdonald was killed in a motorcycle crash on 130th Street on Sunday, September 25.

According to the Department of Public Safety, a truck was then towing a trailer on the westbound lane of 130th street (Farm-to-Market 1585), heading towards Avenue P.

The motorcyclist, identified as Mcdonald, was driving his Yamaha motorcycle along the southbound lane of Avenue P. Mcdonald failed to follow the traffic signs and ended up crashing into the truck at the intersection.

He was sent to a University Medical Center after suffering from serious injuries. However, he later succumbed to his injuries and died, DPS said.
