Ryan Girard Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 21, 2023) – The El Paso County Coroner identified 33-year-old Ryan Girard of Divide who died in a motorcycle crash on North Nevada Avenue on November 12.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Mount View Lane shortly after 4:00 PM. Based on a report, the motorcyclist was heading north on Nevada Avenue.
 
At the same time, a car was turning left onto eastbound Mount View Lane. At that point, the motorcycle and the vehicle collided.
 
As a result, Girard suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where he later died.
 
The Colorado Springs Police Department said speed was a factor in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
