Russell Foreyt Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Highway 195 in Whitman County

 
WHITMAN COUNTY, WA (June 28, 2023) – Officers identified 36-year-old Russell C. Foreyt of Colfax who died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 195 on June 22.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened just three miles south of Colfax around 7:00 PM. Based on a report, Foreyt was traveling on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he crossed over the center line and hit a Ford Focus head-on.
 
As a result, Foreyt suffered grave injuries and died at the scene. The other driver was hurt in and transported to Whitman Hospital for treatment.
 
WSP, the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, Fire, and Aid responded to the scene.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
