Ron Lusk Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 240 in Richland

 
RICHLAND, WA (April 23, 2024) — A 60-year-old man identified as Ron Lusk, of Kennewick, died in a wrong-way crash on Thursday, April 11.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident took place on eastbound Highway 240 at milepost 33.9 near Duportail Street at around 9:16 p.m.
 
Troopers said Lusk drove westbound on Highway 240. Then he struck another vehicle with two adults and two minors ages 15 and 10, traveling eastbound on the same highway.
 
Emergency responders transported Lusk to Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Medical personnel pronounced him dead.
 
Paramedics rushed all four in the second vehicle to Trios Southridge Hospital for treatment of injuries. There is no further information about the extent of their condition.
