Rogelio Hernandez, Jamie Hernandez, Jose Silva Die After Adelanto Crash on El Mirage Road

 
ADELANTO, CA (February 16, 2025) – Rogelio Hernandez, Jamie Hernandez and Jose Silva died following a crash on El Mirage Road on Friday morning, February 7.

The fatal incident occurred near Koala Road, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities stated that a red Honda Civic being driven by 20-year-old Silva of Palmdale had headed east on El Mirage Road. For reasons still undetermined, he went over the double-yellow line.

The Civic then entered the westbound lane, where it slammed head-on into a gray Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by 44-year-old R. Hernandez.

The collision left Silva dead at the scene.

Also succumbing at the accident site were R. Hernandez and one of his four passengers in 41-year-old J. Hernandez.

Meanwhile, the other three occupants of the Tahoe received medical transport to local hospitals in critical condition.

Officials are working on determining the cause and factors surrounding the incident.
