Roberto Rubio Killed in Accident on FM 829 at CR 3400 [Lenorah, TX]

Roberto Rubio Identified in Fatal Accident with Semi-Truck in Lenorah

 
LENORAH, TX (May 29, 2024) – Officials identified 41-year-old Roberto Rubio of Plainview who died in an accident on FM 829 on May 20.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened at CR 3400. Based on a report, Rubio was driving his 2018 GMC Sierra southbound on FM 829 before the crash.
 
At the same time, 26-year-old Devontrell Rimmer was driving a semi-truck eastbound on CR 3400. Due to unknown reasons, Rimmer disregarded a stop sign and hit Rubio.
 
As a result, Rubio suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
DPS said Rimmer was not hurt in the incident and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
