Robert Norman Died in Victorville Fiery Crash

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 18, 2025) – Robert Norman died following a fiery crash on Interstate 5 on Sunday afternoon, February 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened around 1:10 p.m. before the Stoddard Wells Road offramp.
 
Initial investigation detailed that a 1968 Pontiac Firebird was traveling at an unknown speed when its engine compartment caught fire. The driver tried to move the vehicle to the right shoulder but to no avail.
 
The vehicle ended up bursting into flames with its driver unable to flee, police said.
 
67-year-old Norman, the driver of the Pontiac Firebird, died at the scene.
