Rick Moore Dies in Anaheim Hit-and-Run on Katella Avenue and Magnolia Street

 
ANAHEIM, CA (December 1, 2022) — Rick Dale Moore of Long Beach died after a hit-and-run on Katella Avenue and Magnolia Street on Saturday, November 19.

The fatal crash happened at around 1:10 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities said a dark-colored Chevrolet drove east on Katella Avenue when it collided with 30-year-old Moore, who was southbound in a marked crosswalk from Magnolia Street.

Moore suffered fatal injuries and died.

The involved driver fled the scene of the accident. Officials suspect that the truck had significant front-end damage.
