Richard Winter Identified in Fatal Woodville Crash on Highway 69

 
WOODVILLE, TX (October 20, 2023) – The Woodville Police Department identified 54-year-old Richard Winter of Warren who died in a crash on Highway 69 on October 4.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Highway 287. Based on a report, Winter was driving a Nissan Frontier pickup truck southbound on Highway 69 at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he crossed over into the turning lane and hit the side of a northbound Coca-Cola delivery truck.
 
As a result, Winter suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the delivery truck was not hurt in the incident.
 
As of now, the case remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
