Richard Sherbon Struck and Killed by Vehicle in South Hill
SOUTH HILL, WA (November 14, 2023) – Officials identified 57-year-old Richard Sherbon of Puyallup who died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 161 on November 1.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened near County Dump Road around 8:29 PM. Based on a report, Sherbon was walking south on the right shoulder near the fog line at the time of the crash.
Due to unknown reasons, a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas traveling south on Highway 161 and approaching 191st Street struck him.
As a result, Sherbon suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
