Ricardo Leyva, 18-Year-Old Daniel Leyva Killed in Single-Car Crash on West Front Street [Midland, TX]

Daniel Leyva and Ricardo Leyva Identified in Midland Fatal Accident

 
MIDLAND,TX (November 17, 2022) – Police identified Ricardo Leyva and 18-Year-Old Daniel Leyva as the victims who died in a crash in the 200 block of West Front Street on November 13.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened around 3:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, Ricardo’s Ford Taurus was traveling on the road prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, it left the roadway and struck a concrete base light fixture in the parking lot of Midland Public Library.
 
As a result, the Midland Police Department said Ricardo died at the scene. Crews took Daniel to a hospital, where he later died.
 
As of now, the crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
