Rebecca Willis Struck, Injured in Phoenix Hit-and-Run
PHOENIX, AZ (May 2, 2023) – Officers identified Rebecca Willis as the victim who was hurt in a hit-and-run on Bethany Home Road on April 26.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at 10th Street. Based on a report, Willis was carrying a longboard and trying to cross Bethany Home Road prior to the crash.
Subsequently, a truck flashed its lights, waved her across, and hit her.
However, the vehicle fled the scene, leaving her alone on the pavement. Fortunately, a couple got out of another car and helped get off the road.
As a result, Willis survived the accident with road rash, damage to her ribs, and her dominant left hand in a sling.
