BRYAN, TX (January 16, 2025) — 29-year-old Rebecca Franklin and 19-year-old Nikolas Trapp died in a head-on accident on Sunday, January 12.
 
According to the Bryan Police Department, the collision happened at about 1:55 a.m. in the 6800 block of John Sharp Parkway.
 
Bryan Police said that a 2017 Honda Accord, driven by Franklin, traveled southbound in the northbound lanes of John Sharp Parkway. Then it crashed head-on with a 2019 Honda Civic driven by Trapp.
 
First responders arrived and then pronounced both Franklin and Trapp dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported a passenger in the Honda Civic to a local hospital in critical condition.
 
Authorities continue to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
