Pratibha Shrivastava Identified in Fatal Car Accident in Pierce County

 
PIERCE COUNTY, WA (October 23, 2024) – Authorities identified 67-year-old Pratibha Shrivastava who died in a car accident on Highway 410 on October 5.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened 410 at milepost 56 at approximately 5:00 PM. Based on a report, Shrivastava was a passenger in a car heading west on the highway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to an unknown reason, the car’s 38-year-old driver came off the road, struck a tree trunk, and hit a second tree before stopping in a ditch.
 
As a result, Shrivastava suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver and two other passengers were hurt and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
 
Police said fatigued driving caused the crash.
