Bellevue Police Motorcycle Officer Jordan Jackson Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Bellevue Way

 
BELLEVUE, WA (November 22, 2022) – Bellevue Police identified 34-year-old officer Jordan Jackson in a fatal motorcycle crash on Bellevue Way on November 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the officer was traveling northbound in the 500 block of Bellevue Way Southeast on a motorcycle. At that time, he struck a vehicle that turned onto the road out of a parking lot.
 
As a result, emergency crews transported Officer Jackson to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.
 
The occupants in the sedan were not hurt in the incident.
 
Both directions of Bellevue Way between Southeast Wolverine Way and Southeast 6th Street were closed while detectives investigated the scene.
 
The WSP Major Accident Investigation Team is continuing to investigate. Troopers are asking anyone who witnessed this collision to contact the WSP.
