Injuries Sustained in Head-On Crash on Steele Street South in Tacoma

 
TACOMA, WA (November 22, 2022) – At least five people suffered injuries in a head-on crash in the 11400 block of Steele Street South on November 14.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash happened near Spanaway Loop Road at approximately 10:43 PM. Based on a report, two vehicles collided in the lanes.
 
Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department are investigating one of the drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
 
As a result, the suspected driver was hurt in the incident. In addition, the driver and three children in the other vehicle sustained serious injuries. Crews transported them to the hospital for treatment.
 
As of now, the investigation into the case remains ongoing.
