Phil Phillips Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Bryan
BRYAN, TX (September 10, 2024) – The Bryan Police Department identified 63-year-old Phil Phillips of Bryan who died in a pedestrian accident in the 1700 block of North Earl Rudder Freeway on September 4.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Highway 6 around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, a vehicle struck Phillips in the lanes.
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries in the incident. Officers arrived at the crash site and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the car that hit the victim remained and cooperated with authorities.
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
