Peter Gonzalez Fatally Injured in El Paso Motorcycle Accident

 
EL PASO, TX (July 26, 2024) — A 22-year-old identified as Peter Jaden Gonzalez died in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, July 9.
 
According to the El Paso police officials, the crash took place on Redd Road and Dakota Ridge at about 9:30 a.m.
 
Investigators said a 2016 Ford Transit Van was on Redd Road and entered the mandatory left turn lane to go into Dakota Ridge. While turning left, Gonzalez who drove a 2024 Yamaha R1 motorcycle, crashed into the vehicle.
 
Responding officers said Gonzales wore a helmet when the incident occurred. However, he sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Officials said the van’s failure to yield and Gonzalez’s speeding may have contributed factors to the crash.
 
The incident is the 37th traffic-related this 2024 compared to 39 last year.
