Pedestrian Dies After Spring Valley Hit-and-Run on Sweetwater Road

 
SPRING VALLEY, CA (January 25, 2024) — A pedestrian died following a hit-and-run on Sweetwater Road on Sunday, January 21.

The fatal incident occurred near Blossom Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol which received a report at about 5:11 a.m.

Authorities stated that a pedestrian had been hit by an unspecified vehicle along southbound Sweetwater Road.

An unknown number of vehicles would then run over the stricken victim, who succumbed at the scene.

The vehicle that caused the initial crash and other vehicles, including a 2013-2018 Ram 1500 truck, fled the collision site.

The case is still under investigation, and the search for the suspects continues.
