LAS VEGAS, NV (January 25, 2024) — One person died after a pedestrian crash near Flamingo Road on Monday, January 22.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the fatal crash happened near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Burnham Avenue just after 7:30 p.m.
 
Police believe a 2007 Honda Pilot traveled east on Flamingo Road. Then it hit a pedestrian who was outside of a crosswalk.
 
Emergency responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Honda stayed on the scene. Police said he did not show any signs of intoxication.
 
The accident marks the 12th traffic-related death in LVMPD’s jurisdiction this 2024.
