Fatal Pedestrian Hit-and-Run on Flamingo Road and Euclid Street in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (December 5, 2024) — A pedestrian died following a hit-and-run near Flamingo Road on Friday, November 29.
 
According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the incident occurred near Flamingo Road and Euclid Street at about 8:00 p.m.
 
LVMPD said that a dark-colored SUV moved westbound on Flamingo Road. Then a pedestrian, crossing eastbound outside of a crosswalk, stepped into the path of a vehicle. The vehicle struck the pedestrian and pushed them into the roadway.
 
Officials said the pedestrian died at the scene. They have not yet released the identity of the victim, pending family notification.
 
As of writing, the suspect is currently at large. There is also no description yet of the suspect driver.
 
Authorities closed Flamingo Road between Eastern Avenue and Euclid Street until responders finished their investigation. They advised motorists to use alternate routes.
