LAS VEGAS, NV (December 5, 2024) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Nellis Boulevard on November 27.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, the collision happened at Twain Avenue shortly before 7:30 PM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was walking across Nellis Boulevard at the time of the accident.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews transported the victim to the hospital, where the patient later died. Authorities did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Crews closed Nellis Boulevard in both directions between Flamingo Road and Twain Avenue.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
