Hit-and-Run Driver Involved in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on El Cajon Boulevard in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 3, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of a pedestrian in a fatal hit-and-run accident in the 5000 block of El Cajon Boulevard.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 7:22 PM on September 23.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking from north to south on the boulevard at the time of the crash. At the same time, a vehicle was traveling eastbound. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle struck the woman.
 
After the crash, police said the vehicle fled the scene while the pedestrian was lying in the street. There, a gold Toyota Camry struck her again.
 
As a result, the victim in her 50s died in the incident. Officers did not yet release her name, pending kin notification.
