Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on East Yale Avenue in Denver

 
DENVER, CO (October 13, 2023) – The Denver Police Department confirmed that a pedestrian died in a hit-and-run accident in the 6800 block of East Yale Avenue on October 6.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened near Quebec Street around 10:30 PM. Based on a report, a witness said she saw a vehicle dragging a body.
 
Witnesses said the driver took off running through the park.
 
As a result, the person who was struck by the vehicle died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
DPD confirmed no arrests had been made while the search for that driver was ongoing.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
